what makes a good film poster

a film poster to be good must include a bold wirting and a picture that stands out and that resembles the film.
also i think for a good film poster it should have bright colours that stand out and that attract the ausience..
The Muppets Poster
this poster above is a good example of a film poster as it has bright colours and pictures that are very relevent to the film isselfe, also if it has a film date when it is released and the makers and maybe reviews form newspapers or jernaloists on what there veiw is on the film.

- title of the film
- bold colours
- pictures
- when released
- maker of the film

film marketing of an horrow film

the colours the film marketing use for horror films would be bright colourse and dull, such-as red and black red to show blood and balck to show that it is dark and gloomy, horror film are usually made to give the audience and thrill or a fright and that what draws poeple in, the main props in which are used in a horror film are;
  • knifes
  • evil person
  • victims
  • poeple getting scared and getting a fright
  • innocent poeple getting murdered
  • blood
  • gore
  • crime
the constumes that are usually used in a horror film are ripped cloths with blood and gore on.
mainly horror film have famous actors in these could be; danny dyer, patrick wilson.

different methods of marketing for films

the different methods of marketing for film i can remember from todays lesson is viral marketing and how to get the word out to the audience, books and having books based and written on the film, also website.
today i learnt thatb some films marketing methods suited to particuler audiences, for example creating a viral for a film is best suited to a film whose audience is younge and old and because it can get them involved
today i learned that some film marketing methods are suited to particuler genres of film for exampl; having a game for a fiolm is best suited to a film which is from the action genre because you can interact with the game and get a good idea about what the film is like and what it is about.

Viral Marketing

Viral marketing, facilitates and encourages people to pass along a marketing message. when viral marketing is spread through the internet or TV it also helps business's.
viral marketing is like a flu and has the audience spread the word about the film in a form of a video or poster which catches the audiences eye. films that have used viral marketing;

  • Batman
  • cloverfeild
  • paranormal activity 1,2,3
  • the last exorcism
  • insidious
the dark knight used viral marketing as a way to get publicity, they did this by doing a treasure hunt to get information about it.
People use viral marketing because it is cheap way to advertise it and it will get them more publicity.

High budget marketing, is the opposite to low budget marketing. High budget is promoting the film very high budgeted by using high tech posters and expensive things.

Low budget is where they use a low budget to advertise the film and not much money is spent on making the film.

film marketing research

film marketing;  film marketing is a vital aspect in enhancing a movie production's revenue. Every major Hollywood movie distribution company and studio has a dedicated departed for film marketing & nbsp; which is responsible for creating and implementing a cohesive and efficient movie advertising campaigns across many media platforms such as magazines, trailers, internet, newspapers and billboards.

film poster; A movie poster is a poster used to advertise a film. Studios often print several posters that vary in size and content for various domestic and international markets. they usually include dates of when the film is going to be released and the title of thr film

film trailer; in a film trailer there are usually clips from the film but the clips dont reveal to much they just draw you in so you want to either buy the film or go watch it at the cinema, in a film trailere there is also a age certificate and the title of the film and the dat it will be released or if it is already released.

Insidious Poster #2film merchandise; clothes ( t-shirts ), cups and mugs, toys, posters, music playlist.

film website; on a film website you would usually find the title of the film in big bold lettering and also alot of advertisement and pictures of the film, it also might have the names of the cast and a trailer.

film companies usually advertise there films on phones by adding pop ups on download sights or  on the internet. also they use apps on the phone for example having a game of a film or a trailer to download.

stereotypes on teenage poeple

INTRODUCTION:

"Watch out! - I am from the evil and hated generation. Believe it or not, not every single teenager around my age goes around beating up people and smashing up cars....over the years teenagers have become more and more dangerous according to the media but in this presention i will be telling you the truth about teenagers out days and how they are stereotyped by the media, and how as a teenager myself i get stereotyped for the slightest of things...

FILM:
Bart Simpson.svgbart simpson; the typical teenager who goes around smashing cars and vandalising property well.....in the media's eyes that is anyway.

the simpsons has been around for a long time so has stereotyping the simpson is a good example of stereotyping as it shows the good and bad in teenagers, accoding to this show teenagers such as bart are very loud and obnoxcious alsp vadalising preoperty is there speciality, i think that not all teenagers are like this and most dont vandalise but the media specially pics out those who do, so the audience or poeple watching news or these TV shows get the bad idea of teenagers.......

KidulthoodFILM 2
kidulthood is a film which the media suggestes that it relates to the everyday teenager and the main character in this i will be focusing on is sam.

in kidulthood sam is a struggled teenager stuck in west london in an estate with his brother and mum, he has to find ways to make money for his family but sometimes risk's have to be taken. i think in this the media is suggesting that all teenagrers are leaving troubled lives were the family has no money and crime is the only way to make it, but this is not true less that 1/4 of children these day arnt having this problem........

people stereotype teenagers and say That they are rebellious, lazy, egocentric, irresponsible, and totally focused on trivial things like fashion, material things, socializing, etc.

Also, mall rats who give in to peer pressure and all want to look & dress alike, cliquish and cruel kids who disrepect authority and make fun of the less popular kids.

Then you have all the subgroups such as jocks, nerds, goths, punks, skaters, emos, cheerleader/pageant queens, etc.
Man throws a missile during rioting in Enfield

i have to admit teenagers dont help them selves when it comes to stereotyping such-as the looting in london, this was all over the news of looting, plunder and pillage and all over the news was teenagers stealing and vadalising property but it wasnt all to do with the teenagers and the mojority were iresponsible adults, also i think everyone deserves a second chance but teenagers dont get this chance to redeam them selves...

this is a statment from a court member; "Obviously there are people in this city, sadly, who are intent on violence, who are looking for the opportunity to steal and set fire to buildings and create a sense of mayhem, whether they're anarchists or part of organised gangs or just feral youth frankly, who fancy a new pair of trainers." this statment shows alot of stereotyping, as she does not not the true story or if it was all youths commiting these felanies...

Teenager Wearing Hoodie Leaning Against Wall Stock Photo - Rights-Managed, Artist: Hugh Burden, Code: 700-03446057i think stereotyping should be stopped and there should be a compaighn to help this argument otherwise inccocent teenagers will get blamed for the vadalisment of property of if anything is stolen the first thoughts are its a young youth, but most teenagers are good poeple some may have done wrong but none are given second chances or a chance to redeam them selves so in other words seterotyping is bad to anyone could be a certain raise such as muslim or evan the colour of a person skin such as black poeple usually get stereo typed for stealing or gang crimes but as i said everyone deserves a second chance and so do teenagers...
